Just like borosilicate glass, pipelines made from flouro-polymer lined components are also extensively used in chemical and allied industries where corrosive resistance is of prime importance. The additional advantage here is the mechanical strength offered by metal (MS/CS). The different lining materials used are – PP, HDPE, PTFE, FEP and PFA depending on application.
FEP can withstand temperature up to 180 °C, PFA up to 200°C. The temperature threshold for PP is lower at 100°C. All components are available in standard as well as non-standard sizes up to 300DN. SS lined components also available on request. Flange is as per ANSI Class 150# in all components.
Seamless pipe is used as per ASTM A 106 standard, SCH 40. Standard design has one fixed flange and one loose flange. Two fixed flange or two loose flange may be made available on request. As a standard, they are provided with vent holes to release any gas between the liner and the housing.
Lined Tee and Cross
Lined Tee and cross are another important pipeline components and are available in two variants – equal and unequal, depending on the length of different arms. Outer body is fabricated as per ASTM A 106 standard, SCH 40.
Lined bend or elbows usually come in two standards - 45° and 90° and can be used depending upon the pipeline design. PTFE lining is used in bends and is tested as per ASTM F 1545. Outer body is fabricated as per ASTM A 234 standard, SCH 40
Reducers are a key component in pipelines and are used for connecting two components with different bore size. Based on application concentric or eccentric reducers may be used, though concentric reducers are more common. Outer body is fabricated as per ASTM A 395 standard, SCH 40.
Lined Reducing Flange
Lined reducing flange serves the similar purpose as reducers but it is smaller and can be easily accommodated in pipelines where space is a constraint. Outer body is fabricated as per ASTM A 395 standard, SCH 40.
Lined Expansion Bellow
Expansion bellow is a critical component of any pipeline and we offer high pressure bellows which easily withstand strain and expansion in the pipeline without affecting the other components. Bellows are available with PTFE lining and are effective in withstanding axial as well as angular movement.
Other components such as instrument tee, blind flanges, etc are also readily available.
